JANUARY - The winter had been unseasonably mild with bulbs sprouting and daffodils flowering several weeks before they would normally. Ninety-three members attended the Annual Dinner which as usual each year was catered by mark and Leslie Jeans. The two-course menu consisted of delicious supreme of chicken stuffed with spinach and bacon with a woodland mushroom sauce and potatoes and mixed vegetables, vegetables, followed by raspberry and hazelnut meringue with strawberry coulis, and tea and coffee. Providing background music was Valeria Kurbatova,  a harpist, a graduate from the Royal School of Music. Another successful evening. (Report and Photos: Brian Leith)
