911

Home Up

DECEMBER - It was bitterly cold but we queued for the new 911 Museum where Prince William and Kate visited recently. Itís very touching inside with items of masonry and ruined fire engines, columns, lifts, stairs and even the antennae from the top of the Tower. There is also a room with pictures of the victims and each one has a commentary about the person from their loved ones. Outside there is a Tower built where the others stood and two waterfalls also on the site. (Report and photos: Jackie Towler)
